THAI FOOT MASSAGE
21st November 2010
Thai Foot Massage is a wonderfully relaxing treatment that can be offered to your clients as a ’stand alone’ therapy - we all have those clients that love having their feet massaged! or you can integrate it into your existing skills.
This is an accredited, level 3 practitioner course - to attend you must have a recognised massage or reflexology qualification - just call us for clairification if you’re unsure

Thai Foot Massage consists of working on the feet and lower legs, and is performed with the hands and with a Thai foot stick. The treatment is both relaxing and invigorating, and has the aim of balancing the body and encouraging good health.

Thai Foot Massage can be performed as a stand alone treatment, but equally some of the techniques can be integrated into your existing foot and leg routine, as well as into a reflexology treatment. A comprehensive manual covering the course content will be provided. The Thai stick & chart used during the course will be yours to keep.
Thai Foot Massage is a relatively new concept in the UK, but has been practised for hundreds of years in various forms, both in Thailand and beyond. It is believed to have originated over 2000 years ago and has it’s roots in India, Korea, Japan and China.

The emphasis on the day will be practical, the aim being to ensure that all students feel confident to add this new skill to their repetoire of therapies and are able to offer the treatment to clients.
