Open to everybody with an interest in learning about foot reading.
The aim of the day is to give techniques to allow the attendee to be able to read emotions and personality from the feet. The theory given will allow them to extrapolate and arrive at an answer even when they are presented with something they haven’t seen before.
The day will be spent covering
- How do you feel about your feet?
- Size, width and length of the feet
- Line from little toe to big toe
- Individual meanings of the toes and the way this can be applied to the vertical zones
- Colour of the skin
- Gaps between toes
- Webbed toes
- Bunions
- Temperature of the feet
- Skin and related imbalances
- Nails and related imbalances
- Meanings of toe shapes
- Sequence of a treatment
- How to handle a tearful reaction.
Day 2 is an interactive hands-on workshop where you will practice your theory learnt from Day 1.
EMM-Tech introductory Short course with Jane Sheehan

This is a short course based on the work of Ross Emmett so that foot care professionals and reflexologists can help the foot related muscles for their clients. It is also an ideal low cost introduction for trained therapists to see what Emmett is all about.

This new independent course taught by Jenni Tribe, former nurse and midwife, and principal of the Maternity Reflexology Consortium (Susanne Enzer Method), will give you the knowledge, skills and techniques to support women through the perimenopause, menopause and post menopause and beyond.

Details of such hormonal changes and thus techniques to support the hormonal challenges with an Advanced Endocrine Balancing Technique and learn how to give a deeply nourishing and nurturing energetically supportive treatment. The meridians of the reproductive organs, revise the anatomical and physiological processes and changes of postmenopause, why movement is do important and changing in nutrition. Detailed techniques and protocols to support common disorders of the menopause and the natural changes in the maturing physiology and when to refer more serious concerns. Are TEACH Therapy Courses accredited?
Yes they are. We have our courses accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists, the UK’s largest professional association for therapists – it’s important to us that you can use and insure the skills that we teach you.
Where are your courses?
Our courses run at the Holiday Inn Express in Newport – Lakeside Drive, NP10 8BB
Where can I stay overnight?
Our course venue The Holiday Inn Express do preferred room rates for our students – give us a call and we’ll let you know the latest rate – there are a couple of dates through the year when this rate can’t be offered as there are major events in Newport or Cardiff. Please note that the discount is only available when you telephone the hotel to make your reservation and cannot be applied to on-line reservations – the telephone number for the hotel is 01633 819850 (select option 5)
Is it easy to park?

Yes we do – just call us or email – let us have your name, mobile number & which course yu’re interested in and if a place becomes available we send out a text to everyone on the cancellation list – first to respond gets the place
What happens if I can't attend the course that I've booked?
Our Cancellation Policy:
You can cancel your booking up to 21 days prior to the course date. Up until this point you can:
- Transfer your booking free of charge to a future date of the same course.
- Transfer your booking free of charge to a different course.
- Receive a credit equivalent to the monies paid.
- Cancel your booking. This will incur a £30.00 cancellation fee.
If you need to cancel between 7 days and 20 days of the course date, you must contact us to let us know you cannot attend. If we manage to fill your place, you will receive a credit for the course value minus £10 administration fee. If we do not manage to reallocate your place you will receive a credit to your account minus a fee of £30.00 for one-day courses and £50.00 for two-day courses. No refunds will be given.
Any cancellations within 7 days or non-attendance at the course will result in the full course fee being retained.
Do I have to wear uniform on your courses?
For most of our courses no. Joggers and T shirt are perfect and we will let know on your booking confirmation if you do
Will I receive a certificate
Yes you will. We issue a certifcate for every course so that you can get your new skills insured and log your CPD hours too
Is the course venue easy to get to?
YES! The Holiday Inn Express is just 2 minutes off the M4 at junction 28 so couldn’t be easier. If you’re coming by train you’ll find plenty of taxi’s outside the station and it’s approximately 3 miles
