Course Delivery: The course theory lesson & course notes will be sent out approximately 1 week before the course date.  This allows the training day to be focused on hands-on learning and practical skills.

Myofascial Release Technique is a very gentle approach which releases tension in the fascia, thereby allowing the muscles to work more efficiently and allows chronic patterns of dysfunction to move more freely.

This technique is gentle on the practitioner’s body and enables you to tackle acute and chronic conditions more confidently.

You will be able to integrate myofascial release technique easily into your existing massage treatments and you will learn how to deliver these new techniques with your client positioned in various ways on the couch – not just the traditional supine & prone taught in swedish and holistic massage – this will allow you to be far more effective.

Course Objectives:

  • To understand the structure of the myofascial system.
  • To understand the function of the myofascia.
  • To describe the contra-indications to myofascial bodywork.
  • To demonstrate myofascial techniques in the upper and lower extremities, neck, spine, diaphragm, shoulder and pelvic girdle.

Please note course fees are not refundable but with adequate notice may be transferrable.  See our terms and conditions for more information.
