Low back pain is the second most common cause of long-term sickness in the UK after stress. About 7.6 million working days were lost due to work-related back pain in 2012. The most common causes of back pain are strained muscles or ligaments, wear and tear, bad posture, facet joint strains, disc problems and piriformis syndrome. This course will teach you how to recognize these different causes of low back pain and new techniques that will help – enabling you to become much more effective

If you are a practising massage therapist or sports therapist this is a course that you will not regret doing. Sue is an excellent tutor with vast knowledge which she happily shares with her students

I am Sue Croft. I have been a registered Osteopath for 20 years. I ran my own practice for 15 years in London. In 2018 I moved to Swansea to work full time as a lecturer in osteopathy. I teach both Anatomy & Physiology, practical skills and lead the Biomechanics module. Outside of Osteopathy I am an English Channel swimmer and spend a lot of time swimming in the sea. Because of my background in endurance sports, I am an Injury prevention coach and have coached at various training camps around the world. I work very much on a stop problems happening in the first place.
